Poll: Do We The Fans Really Want Santa Cruz?

Reports in the media suggest Manchester City are preparing a fifth bid for Blackburn forward Roque Santa Cruz. The question is, do we, the fans really want him?

I have a feeling the answer is going to be an overwhelming NO, but of course I could be wrong. To cast your vote and see read what Vital Manchester City members are saying, click here.

The result will be published Thursday 11 June.

As a pragmatist I say let MH sign who he wants, if it doesn't work out so what? Hardly counting the pennies are we?
jackblue
The old adage - look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves goes straight out of the window.
Tudor
Its obvious now why Hughes wanted Carrington improving, to increase the space for all the crocks he intended signing.

If we don't get any of.. E'eto, Tevez, Lescott, Dzeko, K Toure, Y Toure, Luisao, Forlan, Maxi, Crouch, a fit Owen, Kevin Beattie, Adriano, Higuain, Alonzo, Sturridge... Fabiano, Rossi, Jed Clampett, Kevin Doyle, Tom Cobley or someone obscure and preferably related to Georgi Kinkladze or Yuri Gagarin, then I think we should offer about £7m. I'm not so sure that he knows whether he can score 7 in a season again. £1 million each.. cheap.. problem would be the waiting...
roy harper
LOL Roy. Yeah Crocky is right down the bottom the list. I applaud your choice of Yuri Gagarin... He's a real hero.
Sindbad
If he could only stay fit he'd be an excellent signing. We're not debating the quality of the player, just whether his glass knees will stand up to the rigours of a full premiership campaign. On past history that doesn't look too likely, so not really overly keen on signing him.

After the season we have just had with injuries do we really want to add yet another for the new season....Surely there are better choices out there.
Doody
one trick poney, probably more your level of player, than the unrealistic tevez and eto thoughts tho.
willowavfc
willowavfc.....at least we are going for genuine stars unlike villa,we got the best player from a club the other day called gareth barry and now that team will fade because there team is full of jealous morons.
Mike Hunt
Santa cruz is injury prone and scored similar amount of goals to jo this season?!? With benjani, "the boj", bellamy, evans, sturridge all injury prone - city need top notch injury free strikers ONLY!
