Tues 23/06/09: Vital Man City Receives A Facelift

As editor I am more than pleased to announce the long awaited Vital Manchester City facelift. The date has been confirmed as Tuesday 23 June 2009.

What's new?

Banners - Last month we held a competition whereby VMC members voted for their favourite front page banners. Every single one submitted was awesome, however due to copyright issues, one or two have not made the final nine. Yes, we have nine banners, all of which will be used of a rotational basis.

Video - Manchester City match previews and game highlights will be embedded via the front page, courtesy of Virgin Media.

Easier Navigation - We have listened to our members and agreed we needed to do something to make the site navigation an awful lot easier. I think we have achieved what you wanted.

We will of course keep popular features, including News & Poll suggestions, front page polls and lots more.

Forums - They look slick and easy on the eye. Initially we will keep the ones we have, however I have a couple of new ideas of how to make them a lot more appealing. More on this next week, post re-launch.

Make sure you register and join us with our very own revolution.

Tremendous news. I can hardly wait to see how the new site works. Any improvements in the very busy Forums will be welcome. The number of posts in there are enormous and still growing...

Looking forward to the next stage in VMC, growing in sync with Manchester City at the same lightening speed. Onwards and upwards!

Incidentally, if Tevez joins City, can he have a face-lift, too?

Will the site be down at all? If so, how long do you reckon?
