I think you paid too much, but congrats. He was one of your primary targets.

When I see transfer fees like this for good but not great players, it amazes me how the hell we got Arshavin for under 17 million last February. So, Roque's first EPL game for City might be at Blackburn? Thats funny.

This signing is one of two things. It could be a masterstroke by Hughes to bring a gifted central striker into the City fold who is capable of more than 15 goals each season. Or it could be a very serious mistake -- a realisation by a manager that he isn't the man for such a big job -- so he will surround himself by friends to buy time. I do not know which it is. I hope Santa Cruz will deliver for City. If he doesn't I fear Hughes will pay the price. He's made his decision and we will all now see the results of it.

Sindbad I think he will deliver, if he pases a medical, it will be one that shows he has no long lasting injury. We know he can score goals and will do so for us.
