Knees Are Good? Roque Santa Cruz In The Area

Creaking News, Blues. Crocky, er, Roque Santa Cruz is at SportCity for his medical...

Who knows, this could be as a result of Mark Hughes' 25th bid for the Paraguayan hitman!

One thing for sure is that the 27 year old striker has a history of knee trouble and above all else will be expected to deliver by City fans who have watched our gaffer pursue his signature relentlessly.

Still, he has plenty of height and Premier League experience which we have been lacking up front for months.

An £18 million fee is being talked up. More as soon as we get it...

I didn't want him but now he's pretty much here I'm fully behind him and hope he can stay fit and repay the faith Hughes is showing in him.

That's it. He's hobbled through the medical LOL. No, he's passed and he is now officially a Blue: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pageid=115&pagegid={DBD12D53-8346-431D-A04F-5D0F8664DE80}&newsid=6634880&siteid=&pageno=&newscategory=&frommonth=4&fromyear=2009&tomonth=6&toyear=2009

Cracking signing for you guys, I know he has his detractors, but I'm not one of them. Hope you break into the top 4 in the coming season, and RSC gets a boat load of goals to silence his critics (and I hope we spend the cash wisely). Cheers!

Cheers Desert Kiwi... refreshing to see an opposing fan not having a go at us for ruining football. Just for that I hope your boys do spend it wisely and have a good season (as long as ours is better of course lol).

Now he is wearing my Beloved shirt I will be 100% behind him unless he shows me a reason not to be.
