to some it up, your ruining football and I am now looking forward to the day you crash and burn. nothing to do with the barry deal because i wish him all the best at your club, i just hate the way you are dealing now, you look at everton and villa, two teams trying to break the top 4 spending just a reasonable sum on players and using their youth systems to a great extent, and then you have man city.... stealing everbodys top stars by throwing money around, your worse than chelsea and i did respect you 2 years ago, now though, i hate your club, and I am one of many many millions

Astvil123, that is quite possibly the most boring post i have ever read. Your bitterness stinks. You poached Barry from Brighton and we have an academy that stands in comparison with the best in Europe. By the way, which one of our academy players, you constantly linked with Richards, Johnson, or Sturridge, do you prefer?. And before i go, maybe if UEFA had any respect for their competition, both yourselves and Tottenham should be banned from Europe for a couple of years for abusing the competition. And maybe, just maybe, Barry was shocked at O'Neills decision to prevent his players from gaining silverware. Hence, his decision to move to club that actively seeks European competition.

astvil123 I'm going to make it easy for you. Starter for 10; What number comes next, 123........? The answer is 4 and fourth is where we will finish next season. Or higher. Oh and I think you meant to write sum not some. Now run along you pesky oik.

I vote we ask asstvil123 to write a front page article regarding how MCFC are ruining football by poaching all the best players, and blocking Everton and Villa's attempts to break the top 4 by good old fashioned toil and endeavour. Perhaps he could even estimate how many millions of new City haters there will be by the end of the 2009/10 season. (Hint - I suspect there will be at least 16 clubs out there hating us.)

I am sure that Manchester City will become team that will be able to compete with the best in the league and the fans that say we are ruining football, is how just exactly?

Who cares about ruining football, this forum is about discussing opinions and mine is that Man City are a small *****ty little team with a bit of cash and their fans are morons.

Teddynylons, why don't you and asstvil123 crawl back under your rocks, this forum is meant to be about CONSTRUCTIVE debate and opinions. Calling us a *****ty little team with morons for fans hardly qualifies as constructive now does it? Go away and support your crappy little team with no money, there's a good little boy.

Oh, and would someone kindly explain to me why aston villa have an entire transfer thread devoted to MCFC? The bitterness and jealousy espoused by some of the posters is hilarious! Why can't people concentrate on their own clubs instead of comming on our pages to slag us off (ineptly)? Guess you must all have very tiny willies.

sir troyster, i second thast motion mate, the constant bickering from other fans is just rediculous, how dare anyone question the motives of our club, if they need to then question this...... AMBITION!!!! which is quite clearly somethin that other teams especially villa dont seem to have, ambition is set to win things like cups ( uefa ) not suggesting we can win in this season but at least we gave it a good go last season, stark contrast to villa's and spuds ambitions eh? suggest Teddylyon and astvil123 go take a long walk off a short pier! p.s i hope ypu both cant swim either

City are "stealing everbodys top stars by throwing money around" when we buy two players: Gareth Barry and Roque Santa Cruz. Have Aston Villa and never bought any players then? I regularly visit Vital Aston Villa, astvil123 and I can tell you there is frustration amongst Villa fans that Martin O'Neill isn't spending enough quickly enough. When he does spend, will he be "throwing money around" too? The truth is that the English clubs who have spent the most until the last few seasons were Chelsea, Liverpool and Manyoo. And their spend on players was accepted by the Press and most everyone else.

Admitedly the press are winding, not just city fans up but fans in the direct line of city's ambition, ie villa, spurs etc , the truth is the press dont want their top 4 monopoly broken, so to add fuel too on an already smouldering can of whoop ass there trying to get support from rival teams to back them up and try and gode the likes of city and any one else who dares to try and become sucessful, but what you have to remember is when it's some other teams turn to become big they will turn on your team in an instant, just like they have done with us, so all you rival teams that are jumping on the bandwaggon and sticking the sly boot in remember this, "BRING IT ON " us City fans are made of sterner stuff and what ever you throw at us is FUTILE, CTID

Laughable some of the comments from other teams fans. How dare City try to pump money into the English transfer market, how dare we give clubs like Aston Villa money to improve their squad. What the hell are we thinking trying to elbow in on the "big four" ? LMAO , suck it up girls and get used to it, City are BACK.
