Makes sense. If I was him, I'd stick around after the return flight to Paris. Much quicker to jet across to Manchester from there. We are watching CDG Terminal 1....

...and Le Bourget's private jets!

News as it happens and straight from the horses mouth (awesome). I wonder how many news outlets have reporters inside a French air terminal? Not many I suspect. Great stuff JB.
Tudor
adn.es is reporting alongside other newswires that Barca are putting pressure on Eto'o to join City in order to strengthen their pursuit of David Villa.....

Maybe we can let Vass go to Spoors

How about an Eto'o - Ched Evans dream ticket? ....I'll get me coat...

His wife lives in Paris! What sort of man would be happy with his wife in a completely different country to where he lives and plays? There are reports in Spain saying the hold up is purely his insistance that Barcelona pay him 15M euro from the transfer fee to stop him joining us (or another team) on a free next season. He has a charity game in Vancouver on the 3rd so I suppose the 2nd is the cut-off point for negotiations (or it should be) as we shouldn't let it drag on. I predict a drama.
City Girl
Just as long as this doesn't become a second Kakagate!

I can think of many blokes who would like to be playing away in a different country to their wife, City Girl. Seriously, though, Eto'o is a French speaking chap from Cameroon. He is also incredibly rich. So where better to feather a love nest than romantic Paris? I hear tell when they wake with le Coq Sportif each Paris morning you can catch the tantalising whiff of Johnny Baguette's croissants on the breeze... Let's hope Samuel and Mrs Eto'o are dreaming of a Blue Heaven tonight.

His agent seems to not be so convinced. But then again all agents are liars.

i hate etoo he is jerk he run after money like crazy he cant understand barca dont want him and our mark hugh like kiss asses to catch him is humiluation for us stop and for the sheikh too he have reputation and everybody know they have so so much dignity so they are doing good thinks for the club ..... etoo dont deserve such money and in his near end of carer 28 years with such money get ibrahimovich or other player we need it we ll have tevez is young and more good than him he like to play football not money i hate him i hit him stupid etooooo
ajlaninazih
ajlaninazih- its a bit much to say you hate someone, i do sympathise and agree that he is being extremely greedy IF you believe the papers, at 28 onyl 3 good years left in him and even if he does run down his contract at barca, is anyone gonna pay him then what we are willing to pay him now? i dont thinnk so - although he could demand a large signing-on free when a free agent. i would personally say that if he not signed by 3rd july then shelve the deal and go for next target, ibrahimovic, would even say young Bojan at barca, looks pretty s##t hot to me, young, not so prolific yet but definately next year or so
dopeeze
Confusion reigns alright, we dont know if Eto'o is staying, why have barca issued another contract ofer after having apparently accepted city's offer and then why is the lad being greedy and asking for half the transfer fee. The mind boggles sometimes.
