Hull City Could Resurrect Didi Hamann's Career

Hull boss Phil Brown could be set to offer veteran midfielder Didi Hamann a one-year deal worth 20,000 a week.

Hamann (35) left Eastlands on 1 July 2009 after his three-year contract expired and is available on a free.

The German international believes he has at least another season left in him before he hangs up his boots and takes up a coaching role.

I like Hamann, always have, and I thank him for what he did for us (although not last season, because I don't remember him playing). Again, another wierd point (see, Awesome Strike Force Article), Phil Brown is a strange cookie...

Hamman's finest hour in a City shirt must have been that brilliant win at Schalke last November. We only had 18 fit players but he held the team together superbly. Good luck, The Kaiser!

I bet you any money he will be happy at Hull. He should be good for them.

I do hope Hamman can pick himself up a club, although i dont think he will have a problem, great feet, passing and alround general in the midfield, just to old and far too slow now for the Prem. Also gives away too many cheap fouls and cheap bookings
