'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We Built This (Man) City

New season - new Manchester City song.

Put these words to the following tune and see what you think?

We love this city
We love this city and Rohinho
We love this city
We love this city and Robinho

It's been a while for glory, or even second place
we were more worried about promotion, than the title race
back up through the divisions, left Maine Road behind
moved across to Eastlands for battles fought with pride

Celebrating with the Samba
like in Rio de Janeiro
Don't you remember?
We love this city
We love this city and Robinho!
We love this city, we love this city on Robinho
Love this city, we love this city and Robinho

We are always singing, shouting out the names
Bluemoon is now rising, Phoenix from the flames
Say goodbye united, we have stole the stage
We now have all the talent and pay a decent wage

Celebrating with the samba
like in Rio de Janeiro
Don't you remember?
We love this city
We love this city and Robinho
We love this city, we love this city and Robinho
Love this city, we love this city and Robinho

It's no longer just the derby, when we're turning up the heat
you have money from Ronaldo, ohhhhh and we have got the Sheiks
But now we have Given ,underneath the bar
We still have our legends and future superstars
Don't tell us you'll defeat us 'cause we don't care for fools
Bringing in the talent, with the future in our schools

Don't you remember...

Celebrating with the Samba,
like in Rio de Janeiro -
Don't you remember?
We love this city
We love this city and Robinho
We love this city, we love this city and Robinho
Love this city, we love this city and Robinho
Love this city, we love this city and Robinho
Love this city, we love this city and Robinho

We love, we love this city yeah
We love this city
We love, we love this city
(Repeat x5 - fading out)

Mike Hunt
Top effort mate, but sorry Blues. I can't be doing with poodle haired prog rockers and it'll be a throw myself off the kippax roof job before I shout that to that tune at the Wolves fans in August!
Johnny Baguette
A good effort.
Buzz Lightyear
Very good- can't see 40,000 of us singing it in tune at the same time mind! One can dream however...
