City Confirm Jo Training With The Toffees

After being spotted by the press, Manchester City have officially confirmed that Jo is training with Everton at their pre-season training camp in Scotland as he prepares for his season long loan.

Everton's Chief Executive Robert Elstone had previously confirmed that negotiations had begun with the £18m Brazilian, stating: 'We have had a conversation with Manchester City over the options available to us and discussions are set to continue.'

The 22-year-old scored five times in 12 league appearances for Everton and with the potential arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Samuel Eto'o, the move back to Everton will see him handed more chances as he hopes to adjust to the rigours of the Premier League.

City fans will be hoping that this loan move will be part of a deal for Everton defender Lescott.

Everton kick off their first pre-season fixture against Bury on Friday, in which Jo could feature.

Really hope it is part of the Lescott deal- even if it only knocks a few million of the 20m price tag.
