Bellamy Could Be On The Off - Again!

It appears Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is interested in signing Manchester City's well-travelled striker, Craig Bellamy.

'arry is a huge admirer of the 29-year-old Welshman and the Spuds gaffer is thought to be waiting to see whether City sign Carlos Tevez and Samuel Eto'o before making a bid.

Bellamy arrived at Eastlands on 19 January 2009 from West Ham for an undisclosed fee, however sums between £14m and £10m wouldn't be far off the mark.

Bellamy flew out to Germany with his team-mates yesterday for pre-season training.

Bellamy is going nowhere - this is a non-starter
MCFC_Goatboy
i hope not as i would like to see him used for cover for SWP.petrov and robinho.either that or tell arry to stump up £20m lol
Mike Hunt
If, and I say IF we get Tevez AND Eto'o, surely that would mean Bellamy slips down the pecking order - big time?
Tudor
arry is a bigger joker than him that has just landed at chelski, come on arry, bellers has only just signed do you honestly think we would sell him to you to make your bunch of yids stronger you can have dunne and gelson and a pick of the few others but im sorry my old wonky face mucka bellers is staying with us we need his 12-15 golas next season
mark.mcfc.wedged
Bellamy is a divisive character and didn't make City any better after his arrival. In my opinion, he made you worse because he interfered with Robinho. Robinho's dry spell happened after Bellamy's arrival and ended when Bellamy was lost to injury. You don't need him.
Samboney
I hope you's keep the scummy we ****e. Wouldnt want him anywhere near our great club. Would take Robinho like!!!
spursbhoy
obviously 'Arry does , spursbhoy. I on the other hand say that he can still do a job for us if he can stay fit.
Buzz Lightyear
bellamy is very similar to tevez although a little injury prone. Hughes likes strong characters in the dressing room and it makes sense to keep him. Bojinov is still unproven and caicedo still has a lot to learn.
eighthsin
Going nowhere! Made a great impact after signing for us last season, until the old injuries kicked in. Definately has a part to play!
oliverblue
I totally agree with oliverblue. He has the knack of scoring goals out of nothing and I believe he is excellent as a squad player, injuries notwithstanding
Wswilly3
Mark isn't going to let his signings go... not this year anyway. it would show a lack of confidence in his own ability to pick good players. If 'Arry wants Bellamy, he'll probably be given a "well he's not for sale, are you interested in Benjani/Bojinov/Caicedo/Evans? ...no? then ***** off".
severedgein
If eto and tevez sign (i hope) will bellamy be happy to be 4th choice behind santa cruz? If so, will he a positive influence in the dressing room and on the bench? Certainly not! I like the idea of bellamy coming from the bench and making a impact - rather than starting, as we can afford better forward options than him. I think only if bellamy deides to leave, hughes will allow him to go.
enzo city
He'll get paid more on City's subs bench then he would on Tottenham's. Can't see this happening
Phartman87
Bellamy has said that he is aware he might be on the berti more often than not and that he'd be happy to clean boots so long as he was at the club. Don't think he'll suddenly start agitating for a move, so get lost 'arry!
fifthcolumnblue
Little monkey could be off again? He is a poster boy for team loyalty.
emigre
Get rid too injury prone
Tiny T
we already have Keane,Defoe,Modric,lennon...we don't want a team of attacking midgets!Bellend is a scumbag anyway, you guys can keep him, hope there's no truth in this rumour.
CoxintheBox
Can't see him going so soon....and from memory he claimed he would be happy to clean boots for us......
Doody
Coxinthebox, we thought that when he was at West Ham, but its just his passion to win games and he gets upset when the other players around him don't try. I was dead against him coming to City, but when he actually arrived and played,I was one of the first to hold my hands up and say he is good and if he can keep fit is an asset to the team. Like all the rest you need quality on the 'Berti' and all players have the chance to start if they show that they are the person in form.
Buzz Lightyear
Can't see it happening, and I couldn't be more pleased
RVTSpurs
Sure you can call it passion, others would control weak self control. Him and Petrov should be roomies.. ;)
