John Terry

Chelsea captain John Terry returned to training today. WOW who cares I hear you say? Well you might care especially if Manchester City usher a third bid.

Carlos Ancelotti is adamant Terry WILL NOT leave Stamford Bridge, but everyone has a price, even dear old John. Expect the England stalwart to issue a statement either today or tomorrow.

Our front page poll asks fans...

Would John Terry leave Chelsea for Manchester City?

He 'Terry' said he wants to stay forever in Chelsea (in the past but anyone can change their mind), in this press conference Ancelotti is telling everyone nothing they dont already know. I look at it as, if terry joins City great but if not also great, we will find another, younger maybe.

With a bit of luck, JT will come out later today and clear the whole sorry mess up once and for all. I honestly don't think he has ever been interested in joining City, but there are clearly some miscommunications within our club. Hopefully those will have been addressed and resoved today.

terry will stay at chelsea i have no doubts about that, and i am too hoping that he comes out early today and clears this situation up, then we can all move on, if he does come to city thou it will be the biggest shock transfer since footy began, im not a big fan of the guy i think he fouls to much and only gets away with half the stuff he does because he plays for chelsea, think about it for a minute if dunne played for chelsea he wouldnt of get half as many cards and sendings off last season, so i feel that he would get sent off 3 times a season at city for various fouls rugby tackles and handballs (another dunne anyone?)

14:30 and he still is keeping shtum what hes going to do,at least we will have got JT a nice fat payrise and that means the rest of the squad will be kicking off and want a pay rise aswell lol

£40 mill no way this would be yet more money poured down the drain by a second rate manager.

He ain't leaving and now that we have proved a point that we can - and will - bid for anyone, we should walk away.

Chelsea fans are truly beicking themselves. If JT joins us it will be the biggest news since Nelly the elephant said goodbye to the circus!
Tudor
Chelsea fans should be happy- not for the fact that we want to sign Terry, but for the fact that we wouldn't try to sign him if we didn't consider him as one of the top defenders in the world. To be honest, I would rather Chelsea kept Terry and beat United in the league while we got Lescott and finished 4th. Good luck to Chelsea and of course City, the colour is well and truely BLUE.

AND THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS NOT a feckin chance!

An interesting theory over at Vital Chelsea has been that perhaps Chelsea, City and JT are all letting their media and press get carried away with this story whilst they sneak in a couple of transfers under the radar. I'm not buying it myself, but what do you reckon?
