Where The **** Is Carlos Tevez?

Where The **** Is Carlos Tevez?

Article by Blue Lad Scragg.

At first, it seemed that the only place Carlos Tevez would be playing his football next season would be at Eastlands but now I'm beginning to wonder.

Now I'm starting to get anxious, nervous and my right eye has for some reason began to twitch as the Tevez saga drags on. It has been ten days now since his Manchester United contract expired and while he has discussed a potential move to City and claimed he would not be a 'traitor' if he left for the Blue half of Manchester, there has still been no official statement from either City or Tevez.

It seems as though Sportcity is the most likely place for the Argentinean after he ruled out moving to Liverpool due to sentimental reasons, plus he has said no to a move abroad as he wants to stay in English football. That left Chelsea and us.

There was also news of Carlos enrolling his daughter in an private school in Alderly Edge suggesting that his move to City was well and truly on. But since then news has completely dried up.

Am I being impatient?

I think this deal will definitely go through. If there were any other clubs in the running, they would make it public as Liverpool and Chelsea did when they were involved a while back.

a statement from the premier league says that negotiations are ongoing and are being held up by 'red tape' as a result of Tevez's third party ownership, they reckon the deal will be done before the squad leaves for south africa next wednesday

Completely impatient, Tevez is owned by a Third Party which means Manchester City has to completely satisfy Tevez's owners and then take it to the FA to show that Manchester City are buying Tevez's rights outright due to new FA rules against thired party ownership, to top that off new and existing sponsorships need to be dealt with. Tevez is a City player, he just hasnt signed officially yet, we all may as well just accept hes a City player now.

As Cookie said, patience is now the key.

I understand the red tape issue holding up the deal but I still think this is taking too long. The rights should just be bought by the club and the transaction/contract proven to the F.A. job done !

I can't help thinking this delay coincided with *********otti being installed at Chelsea, apparantly the only team in the Prem with passionate fans.........

lol, RGS! God rest his mortal comb over! I'll throw another one into the melting pot. OK, maybe the hapless FA are determined not to look tools over any Tevez deal looking shady. But what if Chelsea are after cooking up a deal with City on a Terry/Tevez after you tip?
