Jo's Everton Loan Confirmed

Earlier this week, Manchester City officially confirmed that Jo was training with Everton at their pre-season training camp in Scotland.

Manchester City have now confirmed that an agreement was signed for 22-year-old Brazilian Jo to spend next season on loan at Everton- with the option of a permanent deal.

Everton kick off their first pre-season fixture against Bury today at 7.45pm, in which Jo could feature.

Will this loan move be part of a deal that see's City bring in coveted Everton defender Lescott?

I want news of signings, not departures!

Erm... are you a seer or something? We don't play Bury until 19:45 tonight. As far as I know Jo will be eligible to take part.

Good. That's another sizeable wage cleared out.

Thanks TT- amended. I searched online for 'Bury Everton' although it was in fact a 2007 result ;) Hopefully you can win more than 1-0 this time :D

Exactly JB, the contract has an option to make it a permanent signing so hopefully we recoup some money- or keep him if he is a huge success!

With jo going goodison, its one step closer with lescot coming eastlands :)

Enzo, you could be right as they have signed Kyle Mcnaughton a full back from the Blades. I dont suppose that Hughes will lose any sleep over this one, as this was another signing at City that was not his. Now only a few signings of the old Regime of Dr. T and The Swedish Gigolo still remain.
