Carlos Tevez receives a warm welcome from the blue half of Manchester and give a lesson to old Bacon-Face Ferguson on how to treat one of the world's top strikers.

Tevez announced on his arrival: 'I'm very happy and excited to be here and I'd like to thank the fans. I can't wait to start working with my new team-mates.

'The objective is to win the League, that is what we have talked about and I'm here to make my contribution to the cause on a daily basis. I'm here to win things and I make that pledge now to my team-mates and our fans.

'I will give everything to help City become one of the biggest and most important clubs in England - and win some trophies. But it is very important to remember that I am just one more player to add to the strength of the squad, one more player working with the coach and my new team-mates to help us win trophies for City.'

Who is next, Adebayor or Terry?

"The Man City revolution is gaining pace." Not my words, the words of that Sky Alan Partidge.

Somewhere between 4th and 6th depending on whether or not we bring in some quality defenders.

I have to admit to turning the sound off after they interviewed the City fan who thought Tevez was the best Stiker in the premier, he is good but not that good. If they all chip in with double figures I will be happy. Didn't you just love Cookeys face and hug on Carlos and the actual relief that he turned up for the press conference.LOL
