To be fair (oh this is difficult) to Ronaldo -- he actually said that City were building a "nice team." he didn't knock City at all but just said it wasn't revelant to him any more because he was in a division where his rivals were Barcelona and Sevilla. The words "cross" and "dressing" weren't even mentioned!

You see Sindbad what a headline can do if you don't read the article. You have it spot on, He said City was not his problem it's Uniteds'. That staement is true as he plays for real madrid, different leagues different countries. The headline gives the false impression, that we actually made a bid for Ronaldo and he turned us down.

It was a well known fact Thriller that Ronaldo wanted to go to Real madrid, The question was never seriously put to Ronaldo and therefore whatever he says is irrelevant and I for one do not care about what Ronaldo says or does, he plays in a different country in a different league.
