Ballack Becomes John Terry's Spokesman *VIDEO*

Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack is confident John Terry will snub interest from Manchester City and stay at Stamford Bridge next season.

Thursday 16 July 2009 John Terry and the Chelsea squad flew out to Asia but I ask myself...

Why can't John Terry speak for himself?

Cuz Terry said he won't speak about it? :)

Because saying you don't want to leave while you're renegotiating your contract for more money takes away your power?

Exactly withfalling. Michael Ballack is so German.

I thought Kenyon said they weren't going to give Terry any more money. He looked very happy at the new shirt unveiling; didn't he?

Merlin, he has a family to keep for gods sake!! Were you a Dickensian mill owner in a previous life?

I don't know Merlin, but I'd sure do try to negotiate to get as much as possible when I'm starting projects. What should he say to the press, Buzz? That they're willing to give him everything Roman's got? Both sides are playing hardball and we'll just have to see what happens. The club has the upper hand though, so I don't think they'll have to give him too much.

Wonder how many other players at Chelsea can read minds like Ballack?

If Terry was a City player and the roles reversed, I would want (as a fan) for terry to say he was staying, thats what he hasn't done. Is that he lever for a new contract at Chelsea, if he says now that he wants to stay, then they don't need to negotiate a new contract. A cat and mouse game? Are City being used again?

It is a sad day when Citeh fans sit around salivating because of something that our Captain hasn't said.

Frankly it is probably a good thing that Terry is staying quiet. Lamps did the same thing last year and he was voted our best player this season. Maybe JT is simply trying to emulate that success....
