'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wenger Breaks His Silence Over Ade *VIDEO*

With Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor undergoing a medical at Eastlands ahead of a £25m switch from Arsenal, Arsene Wenger has finally spoken about the move.

Wenger bought Adebayor in 2006 from Monaco in a £3m deal, the 25-year old has since made 104 appearances for the Gunners scoring 46 goals, as well as being named African footballer of the year for 2008.

When asked if a deal was going through with Manchester City for the powerful 6'3 striker Wenger told SSN: 'Yes, he is up at Manchester City having a medical and we will see what comes out of it.

'If the medical is positive and he agrees personal terms then it could happen.

'We'll miss him, but of course we want to focus on the players that are with us at the moment.

'We want to wish him well and thank him for everything he has done for the club.

'I wish him well, I am sure he will give something special to Man City.'

Hope he does well for you to be honest. It will be great to see Chelsea drop out of the top four and basically go under.

It will certainly be an interesting battle for champions league places. Personally I think we will fall short in 5th or 6th position. City fans arnt getting ahead of themselves yet, we still have a lot to do and a lot to prove.

Manure are headed for the compost -- not Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool. I predict a fifthposition result for the Rags next season. Fergie going and being replaced by Martin O'Neill or David Moyes. Happy Days!

Arsene Wenger has once again shown dignity in losing a key player.

That was Arsene Wengers 'I want a job at City if Mark Hughes Moves on' speech.
