'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Turkish Club Ankaragucu Sign Darius Vassell

Turkish Super Lig side Ankaragucu have signed former Manchester City striker, Darius Vassell on a two-year-deal.

The 29-year-old told waiting journalists...

'I do not want to talk too much, I want to play football.'

Vassell moved from Aston Villa to Eastlands in the summer of 2005 for a mere £2m, nothing in today's terms however his first team appearances have to say the least, dwindled in recent months. Vassell's contract expired and was available on a free.

We wish you well.

Darius receives a warm welcome
