Logan Loan Confirmed

Manchester City has confirmed that Shaleum Logan has joined Tranmere Rovers on a season-long loan.

Logan has previously had loan stints at Grimsby Town, Scunthorpe United and Stockport County, making 16 league appearances and scoring two goals.

The Manchester born 21-year-old defender recently signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him tied to Easlands until 2011.

This is an opportunity for logan, which he must take if he is to progress to the first team, but in order to do that he must be outstanding.

Logan has been on the fringes of the team for a couple of years now. I hope he can take a leaf out of Stevie Ireland's book and drag himself up a couple of levels and back into contention. If he didn't have the potential to do that there would have been no point in agreeing a contract extension with him.
