Latest Info Relating To Vital Manchester City
The Vital Network has never been the quickest in loading pages etc, however that is all about to change.
Over the last week or so the site slowed down to a snails pace, and then two days ago Vital Man City and several other sites went completely tits-up. What hair I had is now lying around my seat!
In order to rectify the problem once and for all a decision has been made to bin the current hosting company and move to a brand new, all singing, all dancing set of servers. The move should be complete within four to six weeks. Once the move has been finalised I think we'll have one of the fastest page uploads out there.
Advertising
The Google advertising campaign is going well with over eight million page impressions. Put simply, our two adverts have been added to various outlets (tabloids, Google itself, Youtube, Justin TV etc) eight million times. The issue however is the cost in running the campaign.
I have to be careful in that the cost is becoming rather expensive. We're running a worldwide advertising campaign and that in itself soon eats into the coffers. On the plus side, the site itself is beginning to reap the rewards with new members signing up all the time. We will continue to keep the adverts for the time being, however, if you would like to donate a few quid, please feel free.
