Hopefully there may be one for those fans that can't get to Barnsley today, We have at least two Vital Manchester Members going to the match, so we should get some first hand reports when they get back to their computers.

Can someone send us a brief match report?
Tudor
If they put the match on anywhere it is surely to be found at www.atdhe.net or myp2p.eu, If they don't have it there you'll probably not find it, unless you can find it on a sopcast channel or tvu channel. I normally find all the games and will post a link when I find it.

AS REQUESTED BY THE BOSS..........well ive just got back from the match and as daft as it sounds we did pretty good, the only thing that annoyed me was the fact we wanted to walk the ball into the net everytime until we had no choice to shoot after we went 1-0 down. the link up play between adebayor, robinho, ireland was a joy to watch at times and richards looked like his old self and de jong did a nice job in midfield. bellamy gave 110% and was arguing with everyone who looked at him all afternoon including adebayor, swp, robinho, the ref,the ball boy and the sparrow that flew onto the pitch lol bellamy was top class and worked his socks off and as it pains me i would start him ahead of swp in the next game as swp looked way off pace. garrido was superb in the first half at both going forward and in defence and i was suprised at how well he played and when zabaleta came on in the second half he played LEFT BACK at first and was very very good and got us going and moving better. toure looks a little out of match practice and got beat quite easy in the air today but looked top class defending on the ground and ned did ok in the first half but i think he looks a bit nervous of the fact he may be replaced soon. petrov's confidence doesnt look good and got pushed off the ball quite easy and he smashed his goal in well after they scored on the break which was quite funny after all the pressure we put on them(TYPICAL CITY) weiss looks like michael flattley and needs to lear to pass/shoot at the right time as he seems to run into walls of players but that will come with more games. all in all if we would have gone at them properly and shsot when we should have then we could have won this very easy but it was very evident that hughes told them to keep passing to each other as much as they could and it didnt matter if we won but as long as they gelled which they looked like they will because as i say there was signs of adebayor, robbie, ireland and bellamy linking up very well and once they click which i dont think will be long then we are going to terrorise the premiership. dont worry about the score today blues because we showed signs of greatness today :0)
bluemooner_mcfc
Terrorise what Premiership???? those players youve bought are crap......!!!!! ......silly Citeh fans thinking that they have world class players when they dont...WORLD CLASS PLAYERS are players like Fabregas, Gerrard, Torres, Rooney, Drogba, Lampard... not the likes of midget Robhino , Barry aka poor mans Gerrard..and Tevez who aint no Torres or Drogba.... You people are gonna look so stupid when teh season starts...you cant even beat Barnsley..you barely scraped a draw.....hahahahaha

u fk head chealsea was behind 2 goal too ass hoooooolll
ajlaninazih
Your defense is a joke..u went and bout Toure but EVERYONE knows that Arsenals have one of the worst defenses in the league...almost as laughable as yours..whihc is why the ymade it hard 4 themselves to finsih 4th last season..and you went and wasted millions on bambi Toure...lol.....all youve done is given opposition an easy target to your poor defense as Toure is a liability...your club are thick...cant even beat Barnsley....lol
I Bling Red
How can you judge how well your team will do in the PREM by seeing them play BARNSLEY??
ForeverUnited
But I do have to ask.......HOW ARE YOU LOSING TO BARNSLEY!?????????
ForeverUnited
we didnt lose to barnsley you muppet..by the look of your pre season you wasnt exactly beating all these chippy sides from abroad either and midget owen wont be in the team coz he will be injured most of the time...good to see city old boy DVB scoring the winning penalty against you the other night LOLOLOLOLOL now do one idiots

An enjoyable game with plenty of positives. The link up play at times was fantastic, especially on the counter attack. Adebayor fantastic until he ran out of steam. Richards and Toure solid at the back. Bellamy industrious as ever, but one terrible miss when put clean through. Ireland put in a typcial display. Negatives? Tried to walk the ball in far too many times, and we missed an absolute bagful of chances. Robinho and Petrov remain unwilling for an away day fight, and I am still unconvinced about De Jong - he still hasn't adapted to the pace of the English game imo. Still, and enjoyable afternoon, and not reading anything into the scoreline. Barnsley provided us with an excellent physical test, which was the whole purpose of the match.

Message for ajlaninazih, I Bling Rep & Foreverunited...You must all be getting really worried when you have to comment on unimportant friendly matches.
