Man City Parade FA Cup: Rare Footage From 1934

Manchester City 2-1 Portsmouth 1934 FA Cup Final: Rare footage of the Club parading the trophy through the streets of Manchester City.

I found this rare archived footage and thought it would be appropriate to allow City fans to have a look at life in the 1930's. Wow, hasn't time changed? No Health & Safety Act (players sat on top of a bus), no internet, no TV, no mobile phones - I could go on.

If only people knew at the time what would occur five years later especially when the City of Manchester was bombed to almost oblivion.

The British Paramount Newsreel shows the Lord Mayor of Manchester shaking hands with...?

The clip lasts a mere 1 minute, 14 seconds.

The newsreel can be found here here.
