In yet another move aimed at building more bridges with the club's fans, City will open the stadium doors this Thursday (6th August) for a free chance to see the squad and welcome our new signings...
City's Media/Communications team have passed on the following handy info to Vital MC for Blues planning to attend:
The 'Open House' event is completely free to all supporters and entrance to the stadium will be via the turnstiles in the North West corner (opposite the CityStore) which will open at 2pm local time.
The event, which will include the squad going through some light hearted training routines will begin at approximately 2.45pm and will finish at about 3.45pm.
Outside the stadium there will be other fun-day style activities taking place.
Carparking will be available for supporters in the North Car Park.
Level 1 concourse bars will be open allowing fans to get food and drink.
Fans are encouraged to bring scarves and flags to create a matchday style atmosphere although the club reiterate that unfortunately there'll be no real opportunity for fans to get autographs and photos with the players.
Despite this, the club are certain it will be a great event and hope it will prove to be a nice way for the fans to see the players (especially the new signings) up-close for the first time this season.
Admirable stuff. Sheikh Mansour, Khaldoon Al Mubarak and Garry Cook continue to make good of their promise to strengthen the club's ties with it's supporters.
