80% Think Dunne Will Make Way For Lescott

On our last Vital Manchester City front page poll, alphieblues asked fans...

Who will Lescott replace this weekend?

Here is the result, in descending order:

Richard Dunne - 80%
Micah Richards - 9%
Wayne Bridge - 7%
Kolo Toure - 4%

Amazingly, Vital Man City members think Mark Hughes will drop our Captain in favour of new signing, Joleon Lescott, but why?

If you were one of the 80% who voted for Richard Dunne, please tell us your reasoning by leaving a comment directly below this article.

It would seem the most logical option but on the other hand perhaps he'll keep a settled back 5 for this match as its the last match before internationals. It also wouldn't surprise me if Dunne was sold Monday morning like Corluka was last year on the last day of the transfer window.

One thought that popped into my Little City head with a small mentality, is that he could play three at the back, with Richards and bridge playing a more advanced role. Dropping Robbi for the away matches and just using Tevez and Manu Adebayor up front.
Buzz Lightyear
Buzz - If he was to go down that route then I'd think that he would look to use Sylvinho and SWP as his wing backs as we'd look too defensive with 5 out and out defenders.
