League Cup Campaign: Fulham Next Round At Home

City have been drawn at home to Fulham in Round Three of The Carling Cup. The draw was noteable for easy ties dished out to 'The Big Snore....'

Roy Hodgson's Cottagers are now in amongst the squad stretching, leg sapping fixture intensity of the Europa League.

It'll be interesting to see how they cope with three competitions this side of Christmas.

Full third round draw:

Arsenal v West Brom

Chelsea v QPR

Bolton v West Ham

Barnsley v Burnley

Hull v Everton

Leeds v Liverpool

Manchester United v Wolves

Manchester City v Fulham

Sunderland v Birmingham

Peterborough v Newcastle

Carlisle v Portsmouth

Nottingham Forest v Blackburn

Stoke v Blackpool

Scunthorpe v Port Vale

Preston v Tottenham

Aston Villa v Cardiff

Ties to be played week commencing September 21

Not the easiest or hardest of draws, Fulham are a well organised team because of their manager who is absolute quality and a gent. Gotta still fancy us though....3-1 according to my crystal ball.

They'll probably show 2 matches and I think they should show Leeds v Liverpool and Preston v Tottenham.
