You couldn't make some of this up - Sorry, I correct myself, The News Of The World and The Sunday Mirror just did!

Taggart want's Stevie Ireland eh? It's a pity that most manure fans thing that Ireland is the "worst midfielder in the history of football ever, fact" (as I spied from one manure poster). Signing Ireland wouldn't go down too well then would it?

FCB - But if he ever wore their red shirt then they'd want him named World Player of the Year - Its a shame they'll never get the chance, my heart bleeds for them as they'll have to make do with Darren Fletcher - Even the Scotland fans think he is crap!

This is what the MCFC official site says... http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/What-the-papers-say/2009/August/Ireland-grabs-the-headlines

The Ireland "story" is utter drivel. A deluded Cantona era obsessed throwback desperately trying to portray the rags as being in a position to command a big signing such as Superman. Panic on the streets of London...

Ran out of things to say in the papers this Sunday, I hope TBH and Benjani can get sorted out and help other teams.Ireland its a good story, but who leaked that one?

Can't we try selling Ben Haim and Benjani to United as they may fall within their budget!

I think most of these articles owe more to the cultural traditions of the great Walt Disney than to investigative journalism. I hear Mickey Mouse now wears a "Daily Mirror Watch"...
