Man City May Yet Bring In One More Player

The Premier Leagues transfer window has been extended to 5pm, Tuesday 1 September 2009 due to England having a Bank Holiday the day before.

With Manchester City capturing seven new recruits will Mark Hughes surprise us all and bring in another player before the deadline?

Rumour has it City might be on the verge of signing a highly rated player, but who?

Between now and Tuesday 1 September keep glued to Vital Manchester City for up to the minute updates.

Is it me or does that nifty little countdown timer think there's a month to go before the Transfer Window closes? ;)
Falastur
The reports from Balague and co. when we played Barcelona about 10 days or so reckoned that we would sign a passing midfielder before the end of the transfer window. As Sneijder has now joined Inter and as Real Madrid need to move more players on I believe that we will sig Van Der Vaart.

Good spot Falastur. I've just checked the template and the darn coding will not allow me to add nil months. Just ignore that part if you please, now move along!!! (lol)

One word - Lionel Messi!
mcfcthriller
sorry, mcfcthriller, in as much as i would love that to happen it wont for another 4-5 years as we have 1 st refusal IF and WHEN Barca decides to sell, but ADUG are on the look out for a marquee signing along the same lines as when we signed Robinho last year..... another Statement of intent....

Im convinced petrov will go. Hughes now plays bellamy as robinho's replacement and not the good tried and thrusted, naturally left footed winger - petrov?!? With bellamy doing a decent job and weiss coming through, i can see petrov wanted to leave, as he stated 2weeks ago. I can see city signing a replacement who is happy to be a squad by tuesday IF petrov goes, sadly :(
enzo city
BENTLEY? 10-12m plus petrov think this has some foundations as hughes a big admirer of bentley and we need someone like petrov who is definately leaving your stupid unbalanced team, maybe you can buy the carling cup cause everything else is out of your reach!!
spursman79
That will be one more trophy than Spurs mate
manchester66
Spursman, if anything it will be a straight swap, but you may not get Petrov anyway, because we dont have any cover that side if Petrov goes.

Mcthriller, can't see Messi coming, would rather have a playmaker in the middle and play only two up front.
buzz lightyear
Well we're not signing Bentley or anybody else and it is unlikely that Petrov will join Spurs as he still hasn't been seen at their training ground.
Kevinho
Kaka?
