In our latest Vital MC Poll we asked 'Which Signing Represents Sparky's Best Business/ Value For Money In 2009?...'
Our Bluesometer registered a terrific response of votes across Sparky's 10 signings this year. The brilliant Shay Given and the outstanding Gareth Barry came in streets ahead of the other players.
Seamus signed from Newcastle back in January for £8m million and Gazzer Bazzer was our first signing this summer in a stealth bomber of a deal from Aston Villa for £12 million.
The unpredictable Liam Gallagher recently accurately described Given's performances as 'biblical.' Meanwhile that other ageing rocker Mark Lawrenson said of Barry: 'Pound for pound Gareth Barry was my best signing after a frantic transfer window of activity.'
