Considering the alleged abuse he got, the personal stuff regarding family and whatnot, I believe I would've done the same thing in running all the way over to them and parading myself right in front of them. It was wrong and he got booked, no biggie. The Arsenal fans let themselves down big time that day and yes, I've seen Rooney do it plenty of times and Cit£h fans dont carry on like that mob. As for the stamp, I think that way way outta line. I dont believe for a second it was accidental and a ban is definitely on the cards!

P.S. As any Gooner there will point out, the song about elephants etc was never sung, not least because it's a sp*rs song. The song about Andrei Arshavin, that admittedly includes the pretty tame line "we've got Arshavin, ***** Adebayor", was sung. If a footballer can't deal with that, espescially after the way he's acted, then hes got problems.

how about we give ade some credit cos during his run he could of been hacked down on a number of occasions but stayed on his feet, now what would of happened if he went over in the box? thats right a red card for the arsenal player and a penalty to city, so the guy deseves some credit from all the hacks out there cos if he really did have it in for arsenal he would of gone donw and got a player sent off

all the best players have attitude problems thats what makes them the best players! so your observation that ade wont become the best is way off the mark, a 1 hit wonder is that any suprise the way YOU treated him last season?, maybe just MAYBE if you paid upto date wages instead of 1990s wages then your players wouldnt ask for more and maybe just MAYBE that if arsenal actually spent a little bit of what the earn from the SALES of ALL your PLAYERS then you fans would be alot happier,

Oh how the papers have sunk to a new low (and even I thought that was impossible). Mr Morgan is not a football writer, he's not even a sports writer, and yet he his given a platform to have his piece, and not only that, but be abusive too. Had this 'stamp' not have happened, would he be given a soap box to spout from? Probably not, but then abuse and attacking a stadium employee wouldn't be quite his thing would it? Amos - Numerous newspapers have reported that bananas and banana skins were thrown on to the pitch aimed at Adebayor, one of my Manchester United supporting friends told me this last night, so get over it as it happened and now the police and FA are coming after your fans. Also Piers Morgan is a retarded idiot and who really cares what he says, he should stick to crap like those talent contests that he judges.
