'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Piers Morgan In Anti-Adebayor Toe Curler

And still they come. Das Daily Mail columnist and Arsenal legend Piers Moron joins in the campaign to see Emmanuel Adebayor banned...

The clearly bitter and out of touch Arsenal veteran chose to avoid acknowledging all the elephant and prostitute fuelled hatred relentlessly dished out by the travelling support at Adebayor throughout their Eastlands defeat as he came up with these all time classic quotes:

'Emmanuel Adebayor has been wondering why we Arsenal fans hate him so much. Well Ade, old son, it's not just because you're such a disloyal, lazy, mercenary little b*****d.

Never afraid to leap on a bandwaggon, it sounds like the Britain's Got Celebrity Obsession guru was piling down the steps at Eastlands:

'It's because you do things like run the length of the pitch after scoring for Manchester City, to taunt us, the people who used to pay your ages.

'Money can buy anything in football, except one thing, as he proved yesterday - class.'

Good grief. Yet another pontificating bad loser.

Considering the alleged abuse he got, the personal stuff regarding family and whatnot, I believe I would've done the same thing in running all the way over to them and parading myself right in front of them. It was wrong and he got booked, no biggie. The Arsenal fans let themselves down big time that day and yes, I've seen Rooney do it plenty of times and Cit£h fans dont carry on like that mob. As for the stamp, I think that way way outta line. I dont believe for a second it was accidental and a ban is definitely on the cards!

Yes, Pierce Morgan's a useless tosser who jumps on every single passing bandwagon so he doesn't have to actually produce any original thought about a game he clearly knows nothing about. And he should never be allowed anywhere near a national football column. But he's right, and I'm pretty sure you know it deep down.

P.S. As any Gooner there will point out, the song about elephants etc was never sung, not least because it's a sp*rs song. The song about Andrei Arshavin, that admittedly includes the pretty tame line "we've got Arshavin, ***** Adebayor", was sung. If a footballer can't deal with that, espescially after the way he's acted, then hes got problems.

Who cares about this plastic fool loser. I remember fondly the time he was made to look like a little boy by Jimmy Carr on 8/10 Cats. If i saw him round Eastlands i would gladly cut his throat. PS, TheBoyInRed etc, we support our own through thick and thin, that includes "deep down". How can you even think that to be true? Well wide of the mark with your philosophising there.

how about we give ade some credit cos during his run he could of been hacked down on a number of occasions but stayed on his feet, now what would of happened if he went over in the box? thats right a red card for the arsenal player and a penalty to city, so the guy deseves some credit from all the hacks out there cos if he really did have it in for arsenal he would of gone donw and got a player sent off

And anyone who actually went to the game and had ears heard it mate. Including the press.

i posted this on another site (with a bit more on the story) but will also post here cos im fuming with the press,,, all the best players have attitude problems thats what makes them the best players! so your observation that ade wont become the best is way off the mark, a 1 hit wonder is that any suprise the way YOU treated him last season?, maybe just MAYBE if you paid upto date wages instead of 1990s wages then your players wouldnt ask for more and maybe just MAYBE that if arsenal actually spent a little bit of what the earn from the SALES of ALL your PLAYERS then you fans would be alot happier, do you see chelsea fans treating terry in a vile way? afterall he did the same as ade and used city as ade used barca to get a new improved contract. i think arsenal fans are the most bitter set of supporters in the country and they have the cheek to call spurs fans over there barrating of sol campbell HYPOCRITES

Oh how the papers have sunk to a new low (and even I thought that was impossible). Mr Morgan is not a football writer, he's not even a sports writer, and yet he his given a platform to have his piece, and not only that, but be abusive too. Had this 'stamp' not have happened, would he be given a soap box to spout from? Probably not, but then abuse and attacking a stadium employee wouldn't be quite his thing would it? Truly, truly shocking. Why do you UK people persist in buying these papers?

Perhaps Piers will write an article explaining to us all why Arsenal fans go to matches with real bananas (not the inflatable kind) if they are not intent on racially abusing an African player by throwing them at him?

Well, well. After all your holier-than-thou sanctimonious preaching over at Vitalarse fifthcolumnblue here you are cheerfully finding no such sense of moral outrage when someone posts on one of your threads that they would gladly cut Piers Morgans throat. Morgan is a no-mark celebrity tosspot but you are a hypocrite - and your accusation about Arsenal supporters taking bananas into any ground other than for food is yet another malicious lie.

Amos you tube, it was a joke. I can't stand this new, awful breed of person like you who pretends to be offended by trivial things in order to jump on a bandwagon at someones expense. A good slap for Morgan would do me.

Amos - Numerous newspapers have reported that bananas and banana skins were thrown on to the pitch aimed at Adebayor, one of my Manchester United supporting friends told me this last night, so get over it as it happened and now the police and FA are coming after your fans. Also Piers Morgan is a retarded idiot and who really cares what he says, he should stick to crap like those talent contests that he judges.
