The Vital MC Man Of The Match Versus Arsenal

Our lone striker in the upcoming derby, battling Craig Bellamy summed up the togetherness, work rate and team spirit of Manchester City in the big win over Arsenal...

He's VMC's Man of The Match.

Hard to have imagined that as we collectively dreaded his signature last January, but to his absolute credit, the fiesty speedster has worked his socks off for the Blue cause, encapsulating the siege mentality that is growing at our club with every jibe and insult.

To the dismay of so many, after the likes of Shay Given and Gareth Barry, yet another mercenary puts in a big shift for City:

39. Craig Bellamy 34%
25. Emmanuel Adebayor 30%
1. Shay Given 18%
34. Nigel De Jong 8%
8. Shaun Wright-Phillips 3%
2. Micah Richards 2%
28. Kolo Toure 1%
19. Joleon Lescott 1%
3. Wayne Bridge 1%
7. Stephen Ireland 1%
18. Gareth Barry 1%
17. Martin Petrov 0%

The Story So Far:
Gareth Barry, 2 (Blackburn A, Portsmouth A)
Craig Bellamy,1 (Arsenal H)
Emmanuel Adebayor, 1 (Wolves H)
Shaun Wright-Phillips, 1 (C. Palace A LC R2)

A display of pure class and grit from the guy no-one wanted to sign for us. Just goes to show eh? Not to worry, I'm sure he'll be on the receiving end of a bit of "anti-football" (Cheers M. Whinger) and will be injured again.
