FA Hammer Emmanuel Adebayor: Three Match Ban

The Football Association have confirmed that City striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has received a three-match suspension with immediate effect.

He will miss the matches against Manchester United, Fulham (Carling Cup) and West Ham United.

We at Vital Manchester City and all of its members have discussed last Saturdays van Persie incident until we are Blue in the face. I think its time we moved on.

It could have been worse if he had connected. 3 games some may say is lenient!

Boo hoo! "I didnt mean to intentionally kick him in the head".

He's been lucky, they often in high profile cases like to make an example of a player.

Depends upon the profile of the club, Mike. They gave Roy Keane the same ban in 2002 when he ended Alfie Haaland's career. At least the Arsenal fans will be feeling better for it and we can finally move on.

This might sound strange, but I think that this is to appease everyone. He could have gotten (according to the media and anyone and everyone connected with Arsenal, including that old guy that still sells scarves on the corner, who has barely said a word to anyone since 1943), a 10 game ban, and some were saying (particularly City fans, let's be honest), either none or one. Cue, smaller clubs saying we are already getting preferential treatment from the FA.
BlueWolfie
From what one source said that I read it sounded as if we were offered a deal a bit like a plea bargain in a courtroom where he got a 3 match ban if we didn't contest the charge, which could have been worse if we did.

Perhaps we should appeal to Uefa to get the ban overturned, seems to work for french clubs who kick up enough of a stink.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! Looking forward to seeing you get hammered by ManUre. what do we think - 5-0?
Gooner_Vin
Gooner_Vin - 4-2, enough said! I wouldn't concern yourself with other teams results as it just makes you and your lot sound all the more bitter after last weekends defeat.
Kevinho
Alright lads? Nice bit of support Gooner Vin. You thinking of joining us? Makes sense. Arsenal look a side lacking leaders.
