Santa Cruz Will Be Available To Face West Ham

The official Manchester City website reported yesterday that summer signing, Roque Santa Cruz should be available for selection against West Ham United next Monday.

Talking about the Paraguayan's fitness, City boss Mark Hughes said...

'Roque won't be featuring against Fulham, but the likelihood is that he will play a part in the next game if we can get him involved.'

The 28-year-old striker is still to wear a City shirt having left Blackburn in June 2009 for an estimated £17.5 million.

Due to injuries and suspensions his timely return will be warmly received, especially as City are under strength in the attacking portion of the field.

Maybe the good news has started again. Bellamy in the clear despite that numpty on "The One" show -- and now Santa Cruz about to make his debut! Come on City!

This is good news and hopefully he will show us why he is worth £17m

It will be good if he can get a place on the bench on Monday night as it will provide us with a new and different option as the cupboards were beginning to look a bit bare in the forwards department.
