'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Early Team News: MCFC v West Ham

Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy are expected to be Manchester City's main striking force when they face their former team, West Ham United later tonight.

Roque Santa Cruz however has overcome a knee injury and is expected to make his City debut, with Blues boss Mark Hughes possibly bringing him for the last 20 minutes.

News surrounding long term casualty, Michael Johnson is encouraging but as for the 21-year-old making tonight's squad is perhaps premature.

Emmanuel Adebayor serves the last of his three match ban.

City Players Sidelined

Suspended: Adebayor (3 of 3 matches)
Doubtful: Richards (shoulder), Johnson (groin).
Injured: Onuoha (thigh), Robinho (ankle), Benjani (hip), Kompany (ankle), Ireland (virus).

We should still have enough tools at our disposal to get the job done if we are fully focused and apply ourselves in the correct manner. Bellamy and Tevez to both score against their former club and Santa Cruz to grab one after he gets off the bench in our 3-1 win.

3-1 would do nicely, but I'm really hoping for a brace from Bellamy to bring up his ton in the Premier League. Just hope he celebrates with our fans, not theirs, if you know what I mean!

If Ireland is still out with a virus, I don't know if I would bringin Petrov or try weiss on the left.
