Liverpool Echo: Jo Shuns Manchester City

Liverpool Echo believes Everton on-loan striker, Jo has no regrets about swapping Manchester City for Goodison Park.

In a interview with the said paper the £19million striker added...

'I plan to stay here for the long run. Since last season I have felt very, very happy here and very welcome.'

'I have a lot of respect for Manchester City but I am playing for Everton at the moment.'

'I feel cared for by everybody here and that makes me very happy,'
he said. 'I can say today that I am a fulfilled player. I am 22-years-old and quite happy at the moment.'

If that is a shun then Alex Ferguson is a closet Blue.

You'll stay mate - if we let you. Don't forget who holds your registration.

I hope he buys out his own contract, because even at Everton he is on their Berti.
Buzz Lightyear
Dead right Buzz. He aint exactly setting the world on fire at Everton.

So, the laziest, most useless of our Brazilian signings doesn't want to return to City. THANK GOD FOR THAT! Enjoy warming the Everton bench mate, I used to think they weren't playing you so they could reduce any eventual transfer fee. Now I realise it's because you're rubbish, and don't expect skinters Bill Kenwright to be putting in a bid for you any time soon. I hear Accrington Stanley are in the market for a striker, so there might be hope for you yet.

Birmingham apparently have around £40m to spend in the January sales...

Well I'm glad that Jo is happy at Everton as I am equally happy that he is currently not at City as he is useless!
Kevinho
The lad's probably upset that City aren't showing any signs of wanting him back. It would be interesting to know how much he is actually worth now.
Sindbad
oh no,jo is shunning us.......listen very carefully, you can hear the angels weap.......sod off jo,enjoy watching your fellow countrymen at the world cup next year on tele.

Keep working on him Moyesey, get him playing better then we'll just sell him to the highest bidder.... that won't be Everton!

I would now do a deal with one of our lower league feeder clubs and ship him off there from january and see how much he likes not playing for the team who pays his wages then im sure Bury would appreciate a big Brazilian upfront for free
