PFA Player Of The Month: Vote Bellaminho!

A call to arms and keyboards! Every Blue's favourite Welsh Brazilian Craig Bellamy is in the running for the PFA Player Of The Month award. He needs our vote Blues!

MCFC Social Media and Communications have dropped us a line with the news that Bellers is right in amongst it in the battle to be voted 'The PFA's official Fan's Player of the Month for October.'

The PFA take up the story...

'Every month of the football season, four fans who have voted for the divisional winners get the chance to present the PFA Fans' Player of the Month Award to their football hero on the pitch at a home game. One of the yearly fan winners will be selected at random to win the overall prize of attending the prestigious PFA Player of the Year Awards Dinner.

'The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two clubs and The Fans Supporters Federation. The PFA's commitment to this award confirms the organisation's belief that fans, as well as players, are the lifeblood of the game.'

Here are the current Premier League runners and riders:

1. Francesc Fabregas - Arsenal
2. Frank Lampard - Chelsea
3. Didier Drogba - Chelsea
4. Andrey Arshavin - Arsenal
5. John Terry - Chelsea
6. Craig Bellamy - Manchester City
7. Robin Van Persie - Arsenal
8. Darren Bent - Sunderland

I've cast my vote for Bellers - It was a right mission to get around that 2nd screen so that EON won't be able to connect me about potential lower energy deals!

Wow it' supposed to be an honest vote of who you beleive is the player of the month not a biast vote because you support the club they play for. Quiet idiotic.

NeRD- nice try mate, but I said banter not bitter. One United 92 - yes indeed, quiet, Idiotic. Still, nice to see you TRYING to interact with other fans, even though I'm sure you consider it beneath you. Keep it up lads, you are both very trying.

Hey, what's going on? No Manure players on that list? Shorely shome mishtake? Oh, I get it, it's 'cause the media, FA, Refs, Masons, CIA, Rosicrucians and Knights Templar are all out to get manure. Glad that's sorted then.

Without being funny though and on a serious note - Which team don't seem to have a player in the top 10 for this award?

You're right Kev! There's no Jimmy Bullard! I demand a recount!!!!

That's cause the scousers know Torres is a shoe-in for that list most months when he's fit. The rags on the other hand might ocassionally see Rooney nominated, but it's slim pickings as far as the rest of their squad goes.

What? No Rio Ferdinand then?

29/10/2009 22:37:00

Nope, not even the mighty camel-lipped commando. Not in the future either, as his career looks to be winding down due to his chronic back injury. Pity for England, but dire for the rags.

Surely The English Patient should have got on the list for his five rag starts.
