City Still Ruining Football Arsenal Ticket Cuts

They won't like this in 'Fleet Street.' Once again, MCFC have reduced admission prices for a big cup clash at Eastlands...

Following that amazing gesture last season for the Hamburg UEFA Cup Quarter Final, City have done similar for next month's League Cup Quarter Final clash with The Gooners.

You won't find many learned pundits and anti-City hacks bigging this up.

Spread the word. mcfc.co.uk tells it like it is:

'Early birds will get the bonus of saving money, and receiving additional loyalty points, for our Carling Cup quarter final against Arsenal on December 2. Seats go on sale to Seasoncard holders this Saturday.
Adult seats will be priced at £20 until the close of business on November 20, when they will rise to £25.

Under 16s can take advantage of the successful 'Kids For A Quid' offer where all under 16s can see this mouth-watering clash for just £1. It will be £15 for 16s-21s, and for over 65s.

Seasoncard holders have until Weds 11 November to claim their own seats.

Please note that due to the visiting supporter allocation (as determined by Football League rules), the majority of Seasoncard holders in the South Stand will need to relocate for this fixture, and they can do so on November 12 and 13.

Tickets go on sale to Citycard members and Live4City members on November 14 and 15.

All tickets purchased on or before 15 November will be rewarded with 50 loyalty points, and all tickets bought after 15 November will receive 10 loyalty points.

The key dates are:

Sat Nov 7 from 0900:
Seasoncard holders can claim own seat

Thur Nov 12 & Fri Nov 13: South Stand Seasoncard holders relocate

Sat Nov 14 & Sun Nov 15: Citycard/Live4City members

Mon Nov 16:
General sale/Accesscard holders

All adult tickets purchased before midnight Fri Nov 20 are £20

Adult tickets purchased after Fri Nov 20 are £25

Under 16s: £1

16-21s and over 65s: £15

There is a £2.00 booking fee per ticket on all telephone bookings. There is no booking fee when buying online at www.mcfc.co.uk/tickets or call 0870 062 1894, lines open seven days a week.

All credit once again to the City hierarchy.

Its good that we are sticking to this despite the fact that we are now in the last 8 of the competition and are playing a top 4 side in Arsenal, whether they play their strongest side or not.

FourTwoGate has certainly heightened the debate over relocating away fans away from behind the goals. The club are still looking into this long standing request.

Move them into the corner like they did at Maine Road, They say they put them there because thats where the buses are, but the priority should be for the home fans and not the away supporters.
