On current form Given must be rated number 1 out of these 3 as Van Der Sar has been out injured until recently and is in the twilight of his career and Cech hasn't looked his usual self this season and has appeared shaky on a few occasions.

Edwin Wnaders Far will have to keep going to protect the rags goal from Ben Toster. LMAO
Johnny Baguette
Reina should have been included in this poll as well to be honest, he is playing really well this season.

Cech has never been the same since he broke his face. Before that I would of said him. Now I'd say Shay.

EVS and SG - you are havin a feckin laugh!
Merlin
As a Chelsea fan im going to see Shay is the best keeper in the world, and by far your best buy.

Heurelho Gomes :p...kidding, Shay Given has been the best, most consistent goalkeeper in the Premiership for a long time. Cech, like Goatboy has rightly said has not been the same since his head was smashed in, and since helmets haven't become fashionable attire in every day situations I think he's just a tad depressed. If Man City bought Buffon he wouldn't automatically get in the team. Thats how much I rate Shay Given.

Hah, nothing beats Big Pete! SG and VDS? You lot crazy? :-)

the issue isn't who is doing best at the moment, is it?it is the greatest.i think as things stand i'll say em..em..petr cech

VDS and Cech have always had good defenders in front of them, so they have a relatively easy life. Shay on the other hand spent years playing behind the comedy quartet of the Newcastle United defense, so if he can cope with that he can cope with just about anything!

The question is who is the best keeper in the PL. The answer is easy, Shay Given by a fair distance.
bluesnozza
If we are talking about this season then Shay has my vote.
