The VMC Man Of The Match Versus Burnley

When the going get's tough, City's very own Blueblood get's going. Shaun Wright-Phillips floated like a butterfly and stang like a bee against Burnley...

SWP has taken some stick this season from some quarters in often not matching the high standards he sets for himself. But there was little doubt during Saturday's to-ing and fro-ing that he wanted to win as much as any player out there as he buzzed across the park, giving another example of how a side should defend as a unit.

SWeeP's our Burnley Man of The Match...

This was hardly surprising as SWP had his best match of the season and was our only player who really tried for all 90 minutes. Well done Shaun, now keep it going.
