Adebayor: We Are Family

Adebayor: We Are Family

City's giant striker Emmanuel Adeabayor has revealed the support Shay Given has received from his Blues Brothers following last Wednesday's Henry horror show in Paris...

'The Togonator' also emphasised the strong spirit that has been instilled into Mark Hughes squad, a squad beaten only once in the 96th minute at the swamp all season:

'It's been a very difficult week for him but he knows how many mates he's got in the dressing room. We are all friends and we're all going to fight for each other.

'I saw Shay in the dressing room on Thursday and I hugged him. Then I saw Craig Bellamy do the same as well, followed by a few of the others. We were all telling him how much we thought of him. We knew it would be hard for him mentally after what had gone on.'

Ade then gave a rallying cry ahead of City's upcoming important clashes against Hull, Arsenal and Chelsea:

'But we are a family here at City, we are all together, we're all mates and we will fight together.'

Let him back up his words with his performances on the field, mcfcirish. Let me completely assure you that he is a class A - twotimer and mercenary.
