Keep It Nice & Tight Says Eddie

Manchester City's head coach, Eddie Niedzwiecki says we have to keep it nice and tight and then see where it takes us in the New Year.

Eddie was talking after the 2-2 draw against Liverpool last Saturday but insists...'It must be remembered we're still a new team gelling together'.

Former Chelsea and Wales goalkeeper Niedzwiecki continued...

'It's a big week for us - we have some massive games coming up. We've all been waiting so long at this club for a trophy on the table.'

'But it's very important that we get back to winning ways. We're very frustrated at the moment because of the draws on the board - we've been in winning positions and we've played some really good stuff at times, but individual errors have cost us'.

He says keep it tight, maybe if we actually had a specialist defensive coach then we might actually be able to do this, particularly when trying to attack teams.

"It's very important we get back to winning ways" - you can say that again and a clean sheet would help.

What's the "keep" about Eddie? We are shipping goals and not scoring enough. How can that be "tight"? Things have to change...
