As Quick As Grease Lightening

Wednesday 25 Nov: The last bits of data have finally been transferred over to our new servers based in London. Vital Manchester City and the rest of the network is now as quick as grease lightening, and thankfully so.

May I take this opportunity to thank our VMC members for putting up with a whole load of anguish and frustration, especially over the last few months. I have to admit, at times its been a bloody nightmare for everyone concerned. Patience has paid off and now we have one of the quickest sites out there.

The future

Those at Vital Towers might be left with time on their hands however, they won't be resting on the laurels. The next work in progress is to make the site even more user friendly. There will be subtle changes over the coming months in an effort to make the Vital experience even more enjoyable - more on that at a later date.

Tudor

On a lighter note...

Good to have the site running smoothly and quicker than ever before. However, the video - strange combination of silly moments and horrific injuries, hmm?

Things definitely seem very slick at the moment, the problem with my signature is sorted so all things are looking good.

That's more like it! All the trials and tribulations of the move certainly seem worth it now that the site is up to warp speed. Long may it continue.

At last - a quick site to compete with the best. Happy days me thinks!

Well after three bad days on VMC all seems perfect this morning - the site is running faster than its ever done. Just hope it stays that way.
