The VMC Man Of The Match Versus Arsenal

City's Blue Braveheart Shaun Wright-Phillips is a model professional and never stopped running for the cause in securing City's passage to the rag revenge and the League Cup semi final.

Watching SWP on song is something else and his turns and go's of late show that he's threatening to deliver the form of his life right now.

If he can keep the momentum up that he has now he's got to be in Fabio Capello's thoughts for England's World Cup bid in South Africa.

His goal against Arsenal was sensational. He's our Vital MC Man of The Match.

Carlos Tevez's never say die efforts saw him register second place ahead of Vlad Weiss' goals scoring cameo.

Well this one was hardly a surprise was it? On the match thread after about half an hour I said that I thought SWP was having his best match of the season to date and he capped it off in the 2nd half by scoring a screamer.

Great performance, and even better goal.

A few contenders for this, for a change but well deserved by SWP.
