Blast From The Past: Spurs v Man City

Blast From The Past: Spurs v Man City

Manchester City 5-0 Tottenham, 7th May 1977. Name as many players as you can.

I find it therapeutic taking a look down memory lane and this is no exception. Peter Barnes was one of my heroes and seeing him after all these years dribbling past the opposition has brought back some cracking memories. Oh happy days.

Enjoy.

Can anybody dig out a classic 5-2 City win over Spurs from around 1993/1994 when Rosler and Walsh were on fire!

Flawless. Superb finishes. Oh, Big Mal, why did you offload these lads?

I went to this match with my Dad, aged 10. I was 10, not me Dad, i didn't know him when he was 10. I said "we will batter these, they are rubbish". "Not with Pat Jennings in net we wont" he replied. Dads eh! what do they know. Now we are Dads, we are probably spouting the same nonsense.
