Referee Clattenburg Needs To Wise Up

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes had one or two things to say about referee Mark Clattenburg after the Blues dropped two points against Bolton on Saturday.

Hughes was livid when Clattenburg gave Craig Bellamy his marching orders...

'The decision to send Craig off was laughable. It is quite clear the guy (Robinson) has taken him out.'

'Everyone in the stadium seemed to be mystified for quite some time.'

he needs to do something, but i can't say what it is as the swear filter would break. Definitely not fit to referee at the top level, and I suspect he won't be getting a Christmas card from Craig Bellamy.

Having seen replays I was sure he would have rescinded the second yellow given to Bellamy - what a *****er.

if there is one thing mark clattenburg needs to do, it is give himself a straight red card. Bellamy was clearly fouled and clattenburg gave him another yellow and then a red for apparently diving. referees say they have looked at the evidence again but i bet they never do. Clattenburg should watch this over and over and come out and apologize and get the red card out of the history
