Robinho's Attitude Stinks To High Heaven
I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill but what on earth is wrong with Robinho?
Tottenham were beating City 2-0 at White Hart Lane and something had to be done. Aaron Lennon was constantly skinning Sylvinho on the right wing and Mark Hughes had to do something in an attempt to stabilise / cushion the inevitable. On 59 minutes Hughes took Robinho off and replaced him with Roque Santa Cruz - nothing wrong with that as the Brazilian was way off the pace, but what happened next really 'ground my gears'.
Sparky was stood on the touchline, Robbie comes off the field of play and doesn't even look at the City gaffer but instead, immediately headed for the tunnel. Not a smile, not a handshake, no acknowledgement to the fans, to his team-mates, not even a kiss my ass.
Just to emphasise the fact but when Sparky replaced Martin Petrov with Nigel De Jong what happened? Yes you guessed it, the Dutchman patted / acknowledged several of the backroom staff and went and sat with his fellow colleagues on the bench.
I've been holding off writing something similar in the past but I am fed up with an over-paid jumped up nerd taking the mickey out of Manchester City FC.
On his day the 26-year-old is a joy to watch but his day is almost a thing of the past. No passion, no commitment, no nothing. As the headline states, his attitude stinks to high heaven.
Only yesterday Sky Sports broadcast an interview in which Robbie said he was happy living and applying his trade in Manchester. I just wish he would show it. I don't want to see £32.5 million go down the plughole but what is Robbie worth in today's market...exactly!
I could give more examples but I don't want to focus on the negatives, after all I'm a Blue. I've made my point and now its time to make yours.

Actually, I think you will find that he did in fact shake Hughes' hand. Yes, he did walk straight down the tunnel after this, but it was pouring down with rain, and I know that I for one, would not want to sit in that.

What attitude did you honestly expect though? You sign mercenaries then you really should expect this kind of thing. Cue messrs Adebayor, Tevez, Bellamy, Santa Cruz......... All fine players ( I thought you really missed Bellamy yesterday) but money grabbing whores.

As Wolfie said... he did shake his hand. As for bringing him off I couldn't believe. The game was crying out for a bit of width.. we had nothing on the right... Robbie quiet on the left. So his big plan was to put more people in the middle... and then he changes his mind and sticks Petrov on the left later on??? Surely Weiss should of come on so we had a right mid... or at least Zab... leave Robbie or replace him with Petrov. Going off point though.... he did shake hands... just this week said once again he's happy and committed... only just back from injury... expecting too much too soon from the lad.

It was right to bring him off but it was wrong to play that formation in the first place. What was he thinking? Lennon must have looked at it and thought - the bar is open! He'd have been diappointed not to score. I hate Robinho though. His attitude just riles me. He thinks we're all stupid. If he doesn't want to play for the club then ***** off to Spain and leave the tryers behind!

robinho did have a bad game but then again who had a good game last night? and did Robinho have any service from the midfield.... no, and what did the self proclaimed 'Superman' do in there as he also could have come off as he did/ does exactly the same as he cant tackle and very rarely tracks back, we set up all wrong last night as playing a 4-3-3 formation with no width and a 35 yr old st left back against one of the fastest men in the league was asking for trouble and we got it in spades.... so last nite i have to blame Sparky's tactics for the defeat.

The comments are about Robinho as a whole, not about blaming him for the Spurs pasting. At 32M the least i want from him is effort. I know he's not on his own though........

For me it was the same old robinho away from home game and he is no longer the star player, he has been joined with a players of similar ability, but thei has still not motivated him into some sort of action. We played Spuds like we only had ten men and for most of the time we were.
