January Transfer Window Speculation

The January transfer window opens in less than two weeks and with Roberto Mancini now installed as Manchester City manager the question is, which players, if any will he sign?

I've added a couple of names to get the debate going.

Yaya Toure - Barcelona
Frank Ribery - Bayern Munich
Yossi Benayoun - Liverpool
Angel Di Maria - Benfica
Thierry Henry - Barcelona
Fernando Torres - Liverpool
Gennaro Gattuso - AC Milan
Carlos Puvol - Barcelona

Unless players leave I see him signing nobody.. or one at most. We need to reduce the squad size before the new rules come in not increase it. There good enough as is anyway.

Just get a decent CB and a defensive coach . . . . . . . . . .please.
Thaibluefan
Much of this depends upon how the Hughes loyalists in the squad react against Stoke and Wolves.
Johnny Baguette
Thaibluefan, i fully concur. Not much else wrong with our current squad. Just a bit better organisation needed, lets hope Mancini can sort out the defence, lets face it....something was going very wrong and MH couldn't seem to sort it out for some unfathomable reason.

well well well after only 17 games the club that was going to set the premiership on fire and break the top 4 monopoly is in meltdown already it just goes to show, that when you sell your club and your souls to a bunch of arabs and rant and rave about what you will achieve after a couple of results early on will come back and bite you in the bum with interest perhaps now we will see some sensible comments from your members
cornish gooner
I have serious worries over our own players atm and i think that needs addressing first
Once a Blue

scragg
robson greensleeves your childish inane comment does you no justice whatsoever you must learn to grow up and not to post such vitriolic comments in reply to an observation how is my name a ready made insult, do you have something against the cornish, or are you a closet racist either way, i feel nothing but pity for you,and can only hope that you manage to get a life in the near future
cornish gooner
cornish gooner, your beloved arse, are ripe for takeover as Kroenk is wating in the wings for a takeover bid and then your beloved club will be in the hands of an AMERICAN like the rags, AND Liverpoo, so which would you prefer an Arab owner with pots of money and prepared to spend it or an american who want the kudos of owning a premier league club, like the Glazers and Hicks and Gillette.... i know which i prefer......
cityman51
Giorgio Chiellini and stankovich are dead certs
bluemooner_mcfc

cornish gooner
