For Hughes The Bellamy Now Tolls?

The fall out from the public relations disaster that has been the sacking of Mark Hughes is gathering pace. Rumours are rife that Craig Bellamy has declared he wants out of Eastlands...

Bellamy was one of a group of senior players who alledgedly confronted City CEO Garry Cook after Hughes announced to the dressing room that he had been sacked on Saturday evening. Bellamy is alledged to be disgusted.

The Welsh striker has embodied City's best start to a season in donkeys years with his fight to the death efforts. If he is no longer to wear the shirt then it will be a major blow to the legions of Blues he has won over this year with his skill and spirit.

All eyes on the Roberto Mancini - Garry Cook Eastlands press conference at 17h00 GMT. It's hoped they will deny that the Welsh Bomber has handed in a transfer request.

Bellamy is arguably the best player in your squad, and inarguably a complete j@ck@ss! He's in the best situation of his career with a team that is a few players and the right manager away from silverware. Go ahead, Bellamy. Throw it away.
Teddy_KGB
Hopefully, Ted, this will be refuted later today, but there is no doubting Bellamy and Hughes' strong ties.

I am sorry, but that what you get when you run a club with two people who have no idea how to do things decently. It maybe the way they did them in the industry they came from but not here. The number of fans from other clubs who have spoken to me about Hughes' sacking was unbelievable, you would think I did the dirty deed.

Careful Gaz, you'll blow our cover....

I'm still in shock. At a stroke we have surrendered all of the high ground we had about doing things patiently, and astutely. The number of things we have illustrated about the way we will do our business with this one decision which are extremely negative, is huge. I dont think the Hughes out brigade who argued that a) we should win every game and often b) that Hughes should be playing the kids more, really understand that this is a paradigm shift in the mentality, towards the Chelsea model. The kids arent going to get a look in. What manager in his right mind would risk that now? Bellamy will be assuming from this move that Robinho is now going to be the first choice in his position, and he is right to shake the tree a bit. So disappointed with this. I feel like my house has been robbed. Its like that muppet who got fired after playing the big Arab on day one, has returned.

It would be a disaster if you lost him this season. I can't stand the bloke, but he's been brilliant for you this year. Much better than that sack of crap we sold you for £25M ... I'm still laughing at that.
Rocky7
rocky, bet u werent laughing when he stuck one in agaisnst u lot!!! U mite see bellamy in a spurs shirt, he made no secret we were his first choice over cuty but west ham wouldnt sell to us!!
liamyid
Mancini says he can understand Bellamy's reaction at the ongoing press conference. So there is truth in this story.
Johnny Baguette
I hope he stays, and I reckon he probably will when he has thought about it
BlueWolfie
Bellamy is a pro - he'lk have his say then get on with the job he's paid to do and that's play for Man City
Thaibluefan
Bellamy won't be leaving unless he now finds himself out of the side. He's making the right noises to support his fellow countryman but in the cold light of day isn't going to throw away the sort of money I'm assuming he's on at City. The guys a total prat but if he does demand a move I'd be happy if we took him off your hands!
