Bellamy: 'I Am Committed To Man City'

Craig Bellamy has hit out at reports that he has been at the heart of a number of confrontations with Roberto Mancini over the sacking of previous boss Mark Hughes.

'I want to stay and I am going to stay,' stated the Welsh international, 'I am committed to that. I am committed to Man City.

'I have bought into the idea of where Man City is going to go and I am a huge part of where it is at this stage.

Bellamy also stated that he will sue the papers responsible for discrediting him with the false allegations over his response to Hughes' harsh dismissal, including reports that he had handed in a transfer request.

Harry Redknapp had been hoping to lure the fiery striker away from Eastlands in January, but now any talks of him leaving the club have been firmly quashed, with the 30-year-old ready for action under new boss Roberto Mancini.

'I have no problem with Mancini. It's not his problem he's here. What happened to Mark Hughes has got nothing to do with him.

'I hope Mancini will stay for a long time because I am from the mould of thinking stability is the key to success. I hope he gets a number of years to do it and, as long as I last, I will give my all for him.'

Nice one Bellers, your words are pure poetry.
Tudor
Bellamy turned my opinion of him from I don't want him to I definately don't want him to go. If he wasn't so knackered on the knees, I would say he would make an excellent City Captain. With Tevez man of the season so far. The reception that he got was temendous, almost as good as the return of Colin Bell from injury.
Buzz Lightyear
Me too, Buzz. I remember thinking Hughes was out of his mind, but I was so wrong. He is definitely a favorite of mine now. Watching him track back and make crunching tackles is a beautiful thing that a few of our other loudmouths could learn.
Ahoyskin
Happily I can say he proved myself and everyone else who doubted him wrong. Top class player who wears his heart on his sleeve. I hope he has found a home at City, because he is certainly part of the family.

I was unbelievably shocked when we acquired Bellers services and i din't think it was too much a step forward. How i have been proved wrong. Our best VFM signing for a long time
