Blues Want Bellamy As Stand-In Skipper

Our last front page poll question asked fans...

Who should be named City's skipper during Kolo's African absence?

Here is the result, in descending order.

Craig Bellamy - 31%
Shaun Wright-Phillips - 30%
Gareth Barry - 25%
Shay Given - 8%
Vincent Company - 6%

Most certainly a close call between Bellers and Sweep, but the Welshman would have to be my choice. His passion and enthusiasm is infectious, something we haven't seen in ages. Long may it last!

I think we will be all wrong and it maybe that De Jong ges the nod

Can't see it being Bellers. Barry must be a shoe-in, although the aggressive DJ would be a good addition to the captaincy spot
Once a Blue
Nigel De Jong for me.
