Rag Week Latest: Mancio - Rags Clash The Priority

Roberto Mancini has underlined the importance of reaching Wembley this month and won't entertain the hacks' by now annual January transfer questions...

A relaxed and calm Mancio maintained at today's press conference that beating the Glazer Army is his absolute focus, not potential transfer signings.

The shrewd City gaffer also straight batted relentless questions from hacks who talked up how the rags would react to their humiliating FA Cup defeat at home to Leeds rather than how City would react to the scandalous 97th minute derby defeat last September.

'..The most important thing for me is the match against Manchester United. The other things we can talk about with the club after the derby. We will see then.'

On the injury front, Mancio announced that Micah Richards and Robinho should make the derby, but that Nedum Onuoha is out and that both Roque Santa Cruz and Shaun Wright-Phillips are rated doubtful.
